Our Story
In the thick of 2020, starved for social interaction and entertainment, we found an outlet in watching television game shows. We witnessed engaged audiences and diverse participants share in the common human experience of thrilling competition.

Our "extra" level of commitment to this idea quickly came to life over brunch brainstorming sessions, scrappy garage builds, cocktail experiments, and late-night rounds of redecorating.

2021 - 2022
We watched and wished and wondered why this form of entertainment could only be attained through an expensive trip to NYC or LA - complete with long lines, cued laughter, and a dress code of tacky t-shirts. If only we knew someone who was willing to dedicate the time, resources, creativity and, frankly, determination to bring an elevated game show experience to the masses.

We silently realized, we were those people.
The passion paid off and our first game night was an overwhelming hit! An official trophy was constructed, bragging rights secured and before we knew it, our competitors were eagerly awaiting an invitation to our next event. We were all too happy to oblige...
With each new theme, friends told family, family told friends, and soon we were playing host to both competitors and spectators alike. The growing waitlist of eager participants made us realize the potential of our favorite pastime had outgrown our living room.
2023
Inspired by our ever-growing guest list, we decided to double down on our passion project. After formally launching the Duael business and brand, we had the pleasure of hosting our first public game night in downtown Denver, Colorado alongside our closest
friends and family.
We were overwhelmed by the support and enthusiasm of our audience and vendor partners.

Now, we are thrilled to bring the unique game night experience of Duael to fans everywhere with a range of public and private event services. In collaboration with local venues, we host a standing rotation of pop culture and seasonal theme nights. We also offer wholly customizable experiences for private gatherings.
We truly are fueled by the joy and enthusiasm of our competitors and audiences, both big and small. Thank you for helping make our daydreams our day jobs. We can't wait to see you at our next event!
About Us
A Journeyman Electrician, and proud member of House Slytherin, Tyler is Duael's CEO, master of the big picture and resident MacGyver. His super powers include well timed puns, vast musical memory and an exceptional beard. His incredible passion and ambition to "do what you love and love what you do" has led him to be the driving force behind making Duael a reality.
Tyler's favorite part of hosting game night? Seeing the competitive spirit ignite among participants and audience members alike.

A Project Manager with a background in Events & Hospitality, Brittney is Duael's COO, spirit specialist and event engineer. Her super powers include flawless handwriting, plot line prediction, and ample sarcasm. She leverages her organizational and creative strengths to execute Duael's one of a kind events. With a heavy dose of humor and originality, she is passionate about making Duæl a daydream come true.

A pacifist Doberman, Burton Maximus is Duael's majestic mascot, canine co-host and resident "Good Boi". His super powers include cat person conversion, chest girth and haunting siren song. A staple at every game night, Burt quickly secured his legacy as the iconic symbol of Duael. Now, our victors seek to immortalize their own legacy by earning their place on the coveted Burton Maximus Award.
Burt's favorite part of hosting game night? The constant rotation of admirers anxious to give him the pets.
